It’s July- and you know what that means: Tournaments! Most all of Ocean City’s largest tournaments take place in July and August, bringing the worlds largest sport-fishermen to town to gamble for the big money. Each day we are seeing more and more White Marlin release reports, which is great news for whats’s to come. The Tuna bite is still very steady in the canyons, although not as great as we saw in previous weeks. Today Sunset Marina saw plenty of White and Blue releases, with good handfuls of Yellowfin Tuna and Dolphin mixed in. Combine all of these elements, and you have a great mixture for an excellent tournament season- which means it’s anyone’s game for the big payouts.
