The MidAtlantic kept tension high and the scales busy throughout the entire week- and we certainly saw our fair share of fish at the Ocean City port at Sunset Marina. In case to missed it, let’s recap some of the weeks top winners.
The ‘Pez Machine’ weighed in a 230 lb Tuna early on, which held from early on.
The ‘Easy Rider’ weighed in a 754 lb Blue Marlin in Cape May, awarding them with $67,003.20. The ‘Fantasia’ also weighed in a blue weighing in at 432 lbs.
We saw some rare dolphin action at the scales, with the ‘FFMD (Fishing for Muscular Dystrophy)’ weighing in a whopping 53 lb bull on Thursday! This catch is going most certainly for a good cause!
A 75 lb Wahoo was weighed in by the ‘Moore Bills’.
By now your probably thinking, alright, what about the big money? The White Marlin! Don’t Worry- we’ve got that information for you too.
An incredible 3-way tie for 3rd place White Marlin had people glued to the scales on Friday- ‘MR Ducks’, ‘Sea Wolf’, and ‘Shark Byte’ each brought in one of these beauties.
Coming in second place for the White Marlin category was the ‘Haulin n Ballin’ with a 72 lb White.
The ‘Mjolnir’ came in first in great strides, weighing in a 77 lb White Marlin.
